So on top of new mons, this prehistoric-themed fakemon dex I’m making has regional variants!

Here we have Dark/Flying type Archen and Archeops, based around Microraptor and its known colouration.

And an Ice/Normal Rhyhorn line based around woolly rhinos! It also got a new third evo in Rhytherium, based on Elasmotherium.

The zine I made for all of these guys is no longer on preorder and available now! I’ll be offering a digital option for it soon, too.

    More Lapeoan forms!

Anorith/Armaldo line based on Opabinia (and gas masks!). They’re Poison/Bug types.
    And pure Flying type Aerodactyl!

The zine is still available here.

Out of curiosity, for those who’ve followed my little Lapeo fakemon region project, now I gotta ask…

people with no common sense: je11yf1sh, je11¥fi5h, j*llyf*sh, je//ÿf!sh, j3ï||yf¡sh, gel lee fisk

result: cannot account for the sheer amount of possible ways to alter the word jellyfish

conclusion: i have to see jellyfish now.

Once again, tumblr is not tiktok, tag properly.

‘People need to be riled up’: meteorologist names US heatwaves after oil and gas giants
Guy Walton has christened two previous heatwaves this summer Amoco and BP in attempt to name and shame fossil fuel firms
    the Guardian

CHEERS TO GUY WALTON FOR “OUTING” THE FOSSIL FUEL COMPANIES

    From the article:

Walton has devised his own criteria for named heatwaves in the US, based on duration and extremity, on a one to five scale similar to hurricanes. Heatwave Chevron is classed as a four and is “historic”, Walton said. The meteorologist said he has a list of 20 oil and gas companies – including Exxon and Shell – for upcoming heatwaves and will turn to coal companies if he runs out of names.

Federal troops were called against 13,000 miners.Three battles that led to the biggest armed insurrection since the Civil War.

Ask yourself why you were never taught this in school.

Although there were planes used against the miners in the Battle of Blair Mountain, it is not true that this was the first time planes were used to drop bombs on American soil against Americans.

The Battle of Blair Mountain took place in August and September of 1921. Just a few months prior to that, on May 31 and June 1, planes were also used to help destroy the Greenwood district of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a prosperous black neighborhood nicknamed The Black Wall Street. At least 39 people died during the event, which is known as the Tulsa Race Massacre. Hundreds were wounded, and 6,000 black people lost their homes.

Both of these events were hugely important moments in American history.

Ask yourself why neither was taught to you in school. Also ask your local school board.
